The Kommission für Zeitgeschichte Research Center, Library, and Archive are located on the Collegium Albertinum premises.

Please give prior notification. Copies of archive collections (€ 0,50 per copy) are possible, the latter in small amounts only.
Limited parking is available in front of the building. There is additional parking on the streets along the Rhine and in the University and Markt parking garages (P).
The Commission can be reached in a few minutes from Bonn central train station;
take the U-Bahn or S-Bahn to the »Juridicum«station (short-distance ticket) using lines 16 or 63 (toward Bad Godesberg) or line 66 (toward Königswinter/Bad Honnef);
on foot, by way of the bus station, go to Kaiserplatz, then around the University main building (the former electors’ residence) to the right, then through the Hofgarten.

From Koblenz/Trier: A 61 to Kreuz Meckenheim (Meckenheim Interchange), onto A 565 toward Bonn to Exit 7, BN-Poppelsdorf
From Köln (Cologne): A 555 to Kreuz BN-Nord (BN-Nord Interchange), onto A 565 toward Koblenz to Exit 7, BN-Poppelsdorf, toward Siegburg to Exit 3, BN-Auerberg
From Köln (Cologne): A 3, A 59 to BN-Beuel, onto A 565 to Exit 3, BN-Auerberg
From Frankfurt: A 3 to Exit 32, BN-Siegburg, follow signs toward Bonn onto A 565 until Exit 3, BN-Auerberg
From Exit 7 Bonn-Poppelsdorf: go straight ahead onto Reuterstrasse, to Bundeskanzlerplatz; from there, turn left onto the B 9 (Adenauerallee); after ca. 1 km, immediately past Erste Fährgasse, turn right into the Collegium Albertinum driveway;
From Exit 3 Bonn-Auerberg: go toward Innenstadt (downtown) on Graurheindorferstrasse, turn left onto Augustusring; at the end of Augustusring, turn right onto Römerstrasse; at the Beethovenhalle, turn left into Wachsbleiche; follow this street along the Rhine, underneath the Kennedy Bridge, then turn right onto Erste Fährgasse, turn right onto Adenauerallee and then immediately right again, into the Collegium Albertinum driveway.
